Its origins date back to Roman times, being one of the steps to cross the river Ebro, at first by boat and now via a bridge. The hermitage of Saint Christopher overlooks the whole of this village, where the church of Nuestra Senora de la Antigua, built in two phases, stands out. The first construction phase took place in the 16th century and the second in the 18th century.
The façade has a decadent baroque style. The main statue is a Blessed Virgin Mary statue in the Romanesque-Gothic style.
