Since time immemorial, the Berzal family has been making wine, dedicated to its vineyards for generations. In 1958 José Luis Berzal created a small winery in the centre of Baños de Ebro. In 1980 the facilities were extended to accommodate its growing grape harvest. Today it is their children, the 5th generation of the Berzal family, who share the company responsibilities. The majority of their quality vineyard is made up of the Tempranillo red grape variety, which accounts for 80% of the grape harvest, with smaller productions of other grape varieties such as Viura, Mazuelo and Graciano. In 2001 they began the production of crianzas in their beautiful new winery. Nowadays they export their wines across Europe.
