Gil Berzal

The winery comes from a long family tradition. Generation after generation, the family is fully dedicated to the cultivation of vineyards and winemaking. It was in 1988, when Jose Luis Gil founded Bodegas Gil Berzal with the idea of marketing his own wine under the brand name RECOVECO. Although they maintain tradition, they also produce signature and modern wines. All the wines are produced with grapes from their own vineyards in which an integrated viticulture is practised. This allows them to ferment the wines with autochthonous yeasts, obtaining wines with more personality and terroir of the area, as well as wines that are more natural and healthier. All this, together with the selection of clusters on the vine, and the short pruning and thinning of the clusters to limit the yield, produce high-quality wines.
