If we were to take a look around Samaniego’s vineyards, we would find a figure wearing a txapela (Basque-style hat), tirelessly checking every grape, leaf and branch.

In the Basque Country, he is known as Marino Bello, a man who has dedicated himself to the art of wine since his youth. Cultivating and tilling the future of his winery, Marino Bello, together with his wife, Isabel Berganzo, represent the perfect example of how perseverance and tenacity can create something extraordinary.

Bodega Bello Berganzo was born as a family project, based on preserving the winemaking tradition and craftsmanship. An idea that unites family and people, and puts them first. Nowadays, his three sons, Ángel, Juan Carlos and José Antonio, are in charge of preserving these family traditions.

Bodega Bello Berganzo is renowned for the use of the billhook as a sign of identity.

This is a tool that has been used in vineyards for over two thousand years and is still in use today.
