• In the heart of Rioja Alavesa, sheltered by the Sierra de Cantabria, in an area renowned for excellent wines, are the hectares of Bodegas Castillo de Laserna, on clay-limestone soils and south-facing slopes. Viticulture is traditional and is passed down from father to son. The predominant variety is Tempranillo, the region’s most typical grape. This winery applies the most modern winemaking techniques. The result is a wine with character: fruity and tasty. The family believes that being passionate about the work is key to achieving a great wine.
