Our winery is located in the municipality of Laguardia, at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria, on the road that leads to the village of La Hoya, specifically in the area known as Piñuelas.

Founded in 2000, the Landaluce winery is the result of the work of the Landaluce family and the team of people who transmit to our wines all our know-how and the family experience passed down from generation to generation.

The secret lies in our team’s expertise and, of course, in the raw materials we use. For this, we have 30 hectares of vineyards, of which the main variety is Tempranillo. The vineyards are spread over the San Gregorio, Carravalseca, San Cristóbal and La Gloria estates, all of which are located in the municipality of Laguardia and enjoy the microclimate of the Sierra de Cantabria, in the Rioja Alavesa subzone.

And of this surface area, 15 hectares are made up of vines over 40 years old, alongside others that are over 80 years old. The remaining 15 hectares are planted with vineyards with an average age of between 20 and 40 years.

We have moved away from the traditional concepts of crianza and reserva aging, and have opted for a generic back label on our Elle de Landaluce and Capricho de Landaluce wines, so that each brand is linked to its own quality stage rather than to a typology established by the Denomination of Origin.
