Navaridas sits on a small hill crowning its parish church of the Immaculate Conception. The two doorways of its south façade are striking: one is Gothic and the other is of Elizabethan and Late-Baroque style.
The church was built in three periods, being Renaissance the part of the transept and the apse, the oldest corresponding to the area next to the choir. It has two hermitages, dedicated to Saint John of Ortega and Santiago. El Monte is home to the best example of the Riojan-Alava holm oak grove.
