Ruiz de Viñaspre

The winery was founded almost a century ago, by the grandfather of the current owner. At that time, it was located in Elvillar. In 2005, the new project was undertaken in Laguardia, beneath the Cantabrian mountains. The average age of the vineyards, located in Laguardia and Elvillar, is 40 years, with centenary vineyards in some estates. The winery is equipped with the state-of-the-art technology. It carries out responsible winegrowing practices, is committed to quality, and maintains the traditional Rioja Alavesa procedures. The grapes are selected in this winery from Ruiz de Viñaspre’s own vineyard. On a commercial level, the RUIZ DE VIÑASPRE brand is its finest form of promotion, representing the winery at various international fairs.
